He had previously made a larger, home station size receiver which was the KP-81, in the late 40's. The KE-93 is about the physical size of a Gonset G-66, and chromed as well. Reviewed in QST May 1958, CQ June 1960, and originally sold for the big price of $199.00. 6/12/110v power supplies were available. Early versions had a built in speaker and power supply - later separate units as options. 6 1/4 x 6 1/4 x 9" 10.5 lbs (info from Ostermann's SW receivers Past and Present 1942-1997) If you don't locate a manual, BAMA does NOT have one listed, but they are available from Gary Gompf W7FG at www.W7FG.com $20 plus shipping (usually about 4 or 5 dollars) and I must say his manuals are top quality. 73 Ray "The more I see of the representatives of the people, the more I admire my dogs." letter from Count d'Orsay Ray Colbert, W5XE, OOTC#3618, SOWP#1064M NARTE-NCT2R FP# 111, SOC#78,ARCI 5784, El Paso,(FAR WEST)TEXAS
